Introducing Quagmire...our first Hognose!

Gralena

Corn Snake Diva
Well, I really LOVED Daytona, it was my first year and my 14yr old son and I had a blast. We were supposed to buy only 1 snake a Ghost corn...but we snuck home this little guy. I have only had corns so I will admit I am a little unsure but am going to do a bit of research. I know he is the "normal" of the hognose world, but I'm not sure what kind that really is...a western hognose? I got him from Brent at Supercondra.

His name is Quagmire. And I am in love!

Oh wow, I can see why you're in love. That is a nice snake! Congrats.

I foresee myself wanting one in the future... Uh oh!

Thats an awesome looking snake! I'd love to get a western some day but for the moment I have a male tricolor who is awesome. Gotta love hoggies!

Thanks guys! Good to know he is indded a western...and thanks Nanci for the book reference, will definitely be checking it out!

You know I am starting to think that hoggies are the new Ball pythons...
I mean... is it just me or do BP's seem to get less attention while the arch of the hoggies seem to pick up tremendously?
