Introducing.... TRINKET!

pgr8dnlvr

An obsolete oldie...
This is my favorite baby of the moment! lol! I got this girl from joejr. with my order. He slipped her in for free due to the fact that she was RIDICULOUSLY small and had not eaten yet.

Well, I force fed her a pinky head on two occasions five days apart and shockingly, she kept them down! So on the third occasion I was able to find a pinky mouse that was so small it looked "premie" and she ate it!!! All on her own and even better, she DIGESTED IT! So now she has eaten two more times, all on her own, I'm feeling more and more sure she's going to survive! She has even shed!

At first I was calling her "Worm" as I didn't think she was really going to make it and she is smaller than a few worms that I get when I buy them as bait at the local gas station! Well, now that I think she's going to make it and I've gotten so attached to her I thought I would give her a more appropriate name, TRINKET!

Awe, she's adorable! Smart of Joe to send her somewhere he knew she'd be well taken care of.
Good luck

Heheheh yeah but I must say I'm not doing that well with this as a "business". I was thinking of one maybe two keepers this year... Well I messed that up!

So far I am planning on keeping about 9! :0. Thing that sucks is three of them are no good for breeding! lol! A "gazer", a kinked back, and Trinket are among the ones I won't be breeding. Although, I guess Trinket MIGHT be bred someday, although I'm really not sold on that idea just incase her small hatch size might somehow be genetically passed on... Her zigzagging is pretty cool though, and I do have a very nice zigzag okeetee..... lol!

Anyway, please if I buy from any more people who read this this year.... Don't send me "gimps" cause I'm a sucker who can't say NO!!! :)

Rebecca

She's so tiny and cute; pretty colors too. I hope she keeps eating for you and fills out that little frame.

OMG! Trinket is SO ADORABLE! I hope she really does thrive for you! She was certianly sent to the right person.

Keep us updated on her

Wow, that is tiny! I'm glad to hear that she's doing so well... you know lots of things start out small and catch up with some time and good food :)
I wouldn't count her out as a breeder just yet.

Hahahaha! Of course I do, to the bone if I could! Too many little snakes to stress about, not to mention putting myself 15,000 in debt starting up the "business"! lol!

Don't you just love the huge brown stains on my hands as well? Somehow at work <vet's office> I always seem to be able to touch the damn stiptic pencil on my hands! So the stains seem to always be there as each takes about a week to fade, even with constant hand washing!!!

Rebecca

Awww! How cute and what a perfect name for her! She is stunning! Also LOVE the zig zag on her! Wishing you all the best with your little treasure!
(Wish someone would "sneak" me a corn...hehehe) :grin01:

Hmmm...I know what you mean about breeding though, I am (hopefully) going to breed my first batch in two years time (or there abouts) and I just KNOW I am going to want to keep more than I have space for! Especially seeing as the parents are a motley and a stripe! hehehe Well, we will have to see! :crazy02:

So teeny!

Hehe, time travel into the future a couple years and Trinket will probably be the heftiest, longest snake in your collection. Go girl! Think big!

very cute and small..........i don't know if it is common in the snow's or not, but i had one that i picked up free from an expo and it lasted about 3 months while eating 3 times before passing on. never seemed to gain weight and when she did it she kept it down. just never seemed to grow. not trying to "ruin your parade", i was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it with them before. hopefully yours keeps making a nice comeback. :)

She truly is a lovely snake! TINY! i love it! I just got 3 hatchlings myself, ones biggest iv had at his age hes 10 weeks maby 11 now and over a foot long, but yes she is lovely good luck with her!
