Taste the Rainbow
My boa, Gauge, is a total sweetie and everything. The one thing I have noticed though about him, at least in comparison to my corns, is that he is really sensitive to environment change. Like, when his temps were low from the owner I got him from he had an RI. He's been better now, which is good. But his humidity got a little low and I noticed he had, you could say, a little bit of the sniffles. He sounded a little clicky so I quickly got his humidity back up and he has been fine since. He even had his first rat last Friday which I was super excited about.
Anyways, are any boa owners out there have something like this with their boas? Are they just naturally a more sensitive reptile? This is my first boa so everything is new to me. I've been diligent with keeping his habitat perfect for him so I have had no problems since, but I'm curious.
