Whooo Hooo! :dancer::dancer::dancer:

Congrats! you must be crazy with excitement.

How is she? Did you feed her right away or are you going to wait?

Didn't you ever play hide and seek or moonlight starlight when you were a kid? It's legal to move!

Lol. i know Nanci, i have no idea were she may of been hiding she's nearly 700grams. So she's not that hard to spot. The main thing is she is safely back home. :)

I've only had one escape, and that was out of a feeding container. It was Maizey, and I didn't know about the male springtime feeding strike. So it had been a bunch of missed feedings- enough to make a new owner panic, and I'd bought him a live rat pup, which he refused, and it was crying piteously. I thought I'd try again the next morning before the rat died, and I was annoyed and feeling guilty about the rat when I put Maizey in his container, on the washing machine, in the laundry room. So I go back to check, and no snake! I must not have taken care to close the lid securely because I was upset. I looked under everything in there, these big immoveable shelves, under the washer and dryer. Then I pulled the dryer out a little, and there is Maize, INSIDE the dryer exhaust hose, which was disconnected because the dryer is broken. So the hose goes straight out, under my house (and would dump Maizey out about 20 feet from where I originally found him!) So I go get my boyfriend, and we had this strike team plan- he'd pull the dryer out and I'd squeeze behind it and grab Maize. It worked perfectly, and Maizey just looks at me like, "What??" Since then I've been superstitious and always put a heavy bottle of laundry detergent on top of Maizey's feeding bin.

That's awesome! Congrats, its always a relief to find missing snakes :) I'm sure she's hungry so warm her up and pop her a few!

Wow, congrats on finding her! One of the first threads I read on here was the one you initially posted about your missing snake, I'm happy to see the situation has been resolved.
