I've got Mail!

Ceara (KYAR-a) means fiery red in Irish.
I like that name :)

Thank you :). I think he has more due to hatch within the next couple of weeks!

I didn't need to know that....LOL

Whatev you should totally be thanking me! Not like I gave you a snake for free, or gave you money to buy any lol :poke: You know how much you love them :D Life is to short to set limitations ;D

Sooo true...wait, you *are* a bad influence! ;)

You could start sending any time, ya know, I wouldn't say "no" :).

And, yes, I DO love them! Z doesn't seem to have any complaints about them, except that he's thinking we'll need a proper rack system if I get many more. They're less high maintenance than either the dogs or the macaws, and quieter, too, which he likes!

Life IS too short for limitations! I agree wholeheartedly!

Now that's a Sunglow Motley! And one of the prettiest I've ever seen! :crazy02:

Really? Cool! Thank you! We had reserved a hatchling, but he had this little lady left from last year, so he offered her to us instead, in case we didn't want to wait for hatchlings, or wanted a well-started snake. Apparently she was sold, but then someone backed out, and he couldn't return her to the nursery, since she'd been already been taken out for shipping. Rather like a bird breeder with a closed aviary and secure nursery, it sounds like. I'm glad we took her. I think she's really pretty, and it'll be nice watching her grow up! I hope she turns out as well as the sample photo he has of one on his catalog page :).

I love the amazing motley pattern on her! She is stunning! And I just love picture number 5...amazing.
And as said before, Don is amazing!! I would never second guess myself on buying something from him.

Congrats!

Isn't McKayla (I've only seen one spelled this way and she is an ancestor from about 130 years ago listed on my family tree as an Irish-Italian girl from Cicily) an Irish name? Normally spelt Makayla or Mikayla or something? I like it :) My daughter's middle name is Makayla.

I like it, too :). However, my husband's baby Blue Front Amazon's name is "McKenna". Too much like McKayla. Not that the snake would care.... :)

For your Okee how about Keiry?? (sounds like Keer-ee) My best friend had two animals named Rory and Keiry, which made me think of you! Congrats on the little babes!!

Now how 'bout some name suggestions for my little girl Okeetee? *grins*

Ok, here's a great one...

Grainne, Grania - pronounced graw-nya

"From gran "grain, corn." Grainne in ancient Ireland was the patron of the harvest. In later legends Grainne was the name of the beautiful daughter of a High King of Ireland, Cormac Mac Art. She had been promised in marriage to the king Fionn Mac Cool (read the legend). When Grainne saw him at the wedding banquet she realised Fionn was too old for her and put a "geis," a love spell on Fionn's nephew, Diarmuid. They ran away together but Fionn's pursuit prevented them from spending two consecutive nights in the same place. Megalithic sites throughout Ireland are still traditionally referred to as "the bed of Grainne and Diarmuid"."

Sounds romantic...
