Hi
Has anyone ever fed their adult corns on day old chicks (frozen) and nothing more? Is there a down side 2 this? (apart from stinky poos, and getting hooked) Do they get more nutrition from mice or is it ok just to feed them chicks?

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that if chicks were as good or better than mice, everyone would be feeding chicks instead.

You would have
The Chick Factory instead of The Mouse Factory
Chickpro instead of Rodentpro
Chicks on Ice instead of Mice on Ice...

You know what I mean...

I use day old chicks reguarly for my older adult snakes that only need to sustain themselves. Chicks have poor nutritional value, but I like feeding them to big ole snakes that you don't want getting fat on rodents. Chicks contain far less fat but more protein than mice.

ChickPro is selling DOCs at $.12 a piece right now. They get digested a little faster, but its ok, you just feed a little more often, thats all.

I have a male that didnt eat for 4 months so i tried chicks, hes not a skinny boy but not quite fat yet so for the time being he can stay on chicks

My large Gophers, pines, bulls, black milk and kings all get Chicks. Some months that is all they get and others its all red meat. I give them a variety and they do not seem to mind.
