Just one of the many cool things about this hobby!

Congrats - that sounds like fun! Look forward to hopefully seeing some pics

That's awesome...! :) I have a feeling that you may be asked back for a repeat visit...and if not sooner than later, you'll definitely get asked by Brian's parents on how to help him set up a tank of his own in his bedroom. :) What an awesome experience for everyone involved!

(I touched my first snake when I was in Brownies -- I was 7 & it was an enormous boa constrictor who really looked like he'd rather be anywhere but in an unused fire house with a gaggle of 7-year old girls...! But, I definitely remembered the experience, and I know that the Girl Scout troop are changed girls now, too!)

Well my parents are 7 years apart and I always think how weird that would be until you were both out of school. Yea a 20 year old and a 13 yeard old...

Pfft! Seven years is nothing! My Dad's current wife (#4) is only 15 years older then me! Wrap your mind around that one! :laugh01: If I remember correctly, they're a good 20 years apart in age!

Every two years I do a reptile presentation for my sisters Girl Scout troupe. It's always fun...Last year was the best yet since they're older and more willing to ask questions. I like taking in a variety so they can see and feel the difference in species.

Wow, 20 years apart!! Thats a lot!

Nice pics, David! Those snakes are huge!!!

Thanks Nanci!

Good job, Dave. The more people we can educate about snakes the better the snakes in the wild will be.

Sue.

Thanks Sue!!!

So Dave...you gonna be speaking at the next SC show? ;)

Maybe not the next one but hopefully someday I will! ;)

Ok, I am at school right now but I will put up the rest of the pictures when I get home.

Whoo hoo! :dancer:

Good for you, Dave. Just wait, you'll get word that one of them begged mom and dad for a snake. ;)

Ok because no one said I couldn't put up the pictures of the girls without marking out their faces or anything, I am just going to put them up!

There will be two posts.

Pictures...
1. "I am a branch!"
2. "Wow, I am holding it!"
3. "They aren't so bad..."
4. This is the girl who loves reptiles.
5. These are the two who were not too excited at first but they are checking out Kathys book! (See what happens in the next post).
