Kamalah - 2010 Aztec Lavender

Picked her up from the Cleveland show today. She is as sweet as can be. I already am falling head over heals in love with her. She is also het stripe and hypo so I'm hoping to make some pretty hypo lav stripes in a few years. Her name is Hawaiian meaning lotus, representing the garden, love, and beauty.

I love her dark blue eyes. They almost look black.

Thank you for all the lovely comments everyone. I can't wait to see her grow up. She's been in her cup in quarantine, but she keeps looking around and watching me do chores as I walk past.

Great pattern! I'm not so keen on calling animals with only 50% aztec pattern a true aztec. To me they should have 80 to 100% aztec pattern to be called an aztec. But this one sure is pretty

To Cornparadise: I'm only posting her as what she was sold to me as. Compared to the other lavender aztecs for sale, this girl had the best pattern. And thank you for the nice comments. I love how funky her pattern is. Should I just call it that? Funky? Lol.

Her first meal!!

I was so worried she wasn't gonna eat at first, but she was so eagerly searching for food the past two days that I started to feel better. Feeding day finally came last night and she was such a champ! Her little 8 gram body lunged at the extra small pinkie on the tongs and downed it as quick as she possibly could. I'm such a proud mommy! :dancer: I grabbed a couple quick pics before leaving her to do her business. Sorry they are pretty blurry; I didn't want to get too close and disturb her.

Tried getting some photos of her with a flash today, hoped it didn't wash out her pretty pinks and purples too much. She's eating like a pig and growing like a champ! She's one of my biggest babies, next to Nanuq and Theo.
