I'm a total wreck about this. My little baby boy escaped two days ago and I have had no luck finding him. I seriously at a loss.. I don't know what to do. I have no other animals, and my apartment isn't that big, so I have no idea where he could have gone. But since he's a baby, only 12 grams, I know he can fit/go anywhere. I'm crushed. I want my baby back.

Oh I am so sorry! I hope you find him. Search around on the forum for ways to catch him. I have seen a lot of things on here like puting tape next to the walls so if he slithers over it he will get stuck. Or plastic bottles with a pinkie and check it in the middle of the night and in the morning. Also I have heard that they usually don't travel far, tear apart the room his enclosure was in.

There is hope! That really sucks, but I'll tell you that I've had three escapes in the last year, and all three snakes were found within a week. My little charcoal hatchling escaped and I found her six or seven days later in the bath tub. She'd slithered out of her cage, down the bookshelf her cage was on, across the apratment, up a potted plant next to my bath tub and finally into the tub. The journey took her a week. That exact same journey was taken by another hatchling only months later. I found him in the tub after a day or so. Finally, one of my adults escaped (though I hadn't noticed) and my GF found the five foot motley in her purse as she was walking out the door!

So, all this is to say, there is much hope that your baby will be found eventually. Good luck!

I hope your baby comes back. I see you're in Ohio, so it's probably cold. Try looking near baseboard heat or radiators...maybe set up a trap near the heater. There's another thread here that talks about making a rap from a 2 liter bottle. Cut the top off and tape it back on with the neck on the inside. Put a pink in there and hope your snake crawls in and gets caught.
Good luck.

If you haven't found him by now, that's probably a bad sign, but it's not a death sentence. The two most frequent times I have found escapees either within the hour of them escaping, or at very random times sometimes months after they've escaped.

Hopefully at some point you will be minding your own business and then there is a snake in front of your face. That is how it as mostly happened for me.
