I don't know if Buddeh is just big or if your daughter is just small, but man he looks huge on her!

I hope no one minds if I resurrect this awesome thread! I love looking at all these pictures of kids with snakes, so I'll add one too. This is my 8 year-old sister with her amel stripe, Popsicle:

WOW! I'm glad you brought this thread back! LOL. Your sister is holding an AWESOME looking snake! Wow!

Here's my lil girl Lexus with Buddeh. Everytime I take him out she is ALL over him just LOVES snakes.

While she was holding buddeh I asked her "What would mommy do if I put buddeh around her neck" this is the face I got ;)

As I said she LOVES snakes. She wanted to bring this one home for the Herp Expo :p

Goodness! Buddeh really is a big guy!!! Lexus looks like she's been holding snakes for years. :) Too cute!

I hope to see those pics! It is awesome that your kids are helping with the rescued Sydney! Very kewl.

After cleaning the tanks today, me and Montana could tell that Popsicle had to 'go', so we took her outside on the grass to do that, rather than get her tank dirty again. Then we played with her for a little bit.

Ahhhhh... So cute! So hot around here that such pics would not work...
Also, it's funny how all of our kids make that face in the last pic... My youngest daughter does that every day.

Here is Piglet and Kyle... Always the best of friends!

Up to no good..

This is a GREAT thread! I'll have to post pictures of my boyfriends siblings holding Gaia! We're visiting with her tomorrow, so I'll make sure he takes some!

can i ask what type of snake is kokoro :)
Hi! No problems at all.

Kokoro is a Vietnamese Blue Beauty Snake. I think she's BEAUTIFUL. She can be very defensive at times, though, so she's not "like" most corns which you can take out and have them just "hang out". You've gotta keep on your toes with her. LOL. That's one of the reasons my kids aren't shown in the pics... but they were around - just out of reach! LOL.

Right now, she's about 6 feet long and eats medium/large rats.

I'll look forward to seeing those pics, then. :)

There's just something about seeing "snakes and kids". Seeing mine overcome their fears and get "comfortable" with them is just kewl!

Well, I will get pictures of them, but was unable to today, and the fault was entirely my own. I too LOVE seeing kids understand that snakes aren't 'icky' just a really cool animal with a different way of moving...
I'm going to post a thread about the mistake, I don't need to sully this wonderful one!
BUT, I'll be getting pictures on here ASAP of his brother Matthew, he loves the snake!
