Kingsnake forums? Couple Questions?

Was curious if there was a forum out there as informative about kings as there is this one about corns. I think this forum is absolutely awesome, so much helpful info and the people are great. Due to this forum i think my Diablo is extremely happy. Need to post a few updated pics of her, shes gettin big. Will do that as soon as i get my camera fixed.

I am about to get a get grey banded king and was curious if there set set up should be pretty much the same as a corn as far as tank size, substrates, hides, temp differences etc. Mainly curious about what the gradient temps should be. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes the setup for a grayband would be the same as for corns. Grayband hatchlings can be difficult to start on mice so save yourself some trouble and buy an established feeder.

This x 1000000000000000000000000000000!!!!!!!!!

Make absolute certain the snake is feeding on FT _unscented_ mice.

Warmer and less humidity. Greybands are true desert dwellers, and will thrive under slightly warmer and drier conditions than cornsnakes. Temps on the warm end should be closer to 90*F, and relative humidity should hover closer to 40%.

And yes, they can be very difficult to feed as hatchlings, so make sure you get them already well-established on f/t, unscented pinky mice. Lee Abbott's line of Greybands is just as breathtaking as his Okeetee cornsnakes. If you want guaranteed locality animals from LTC and CB parents, let me know, and I'll get you an email addy for one of my favorite greyband breeders...
