Kinky Tail?

Was feeding the crew and this guys tails is all kinked up looking.. I am not sure really what happened he was fine last week, does this look like a health issue, or physical damage?

It looks more health or genetic related than physical. Are you sure he wasn't kinked last week? Did he just shed recently? I don't know what would cause a babies tail to get that badly kinked in a week. Are you sure that there isn't any other kinks in the body?
 
ya the rest of the body is fine,snake eats and slithers fine.. I have more photos.. I'll ret with the good camera tho.

I honestly didn't see anything that looks amiss, it's been about 8 days since I last had him out though.
 
This might sound dumb, but I have seen babies tails like that, and then they move and it straightens right out. Is it perminantly bent that way?

Is it at all possible that he might have had it caught somewhere?
It is wicked easy to catch the tip in a deli cup, but I am sure you have already thought of that.
I am so sorry....please keep up updated on this.
 
I can see how it may be from getting caught in the deli cup, but I'd expect to see more damage to the tail tip then- unless it happened, and the person packing the baby realized it, fixed the issue and did not tell. I have a little kinked girl, and her kinks are almost identical to yours, and I know that hers was a deformity.
