KISS snake hides

I feel like sometimes we over thing things. Make life too complicated. Keep It Simple Stupid. I like things to be quick and easy. I don't like to clean hides, and they will get dirty and require some kind of cleaning. Mine are somewhat inexpensive and when they get dirty, I throw them away.

Another good hide for when you run out of boxes is a crumpled news paper.

Yep! I also use crumpled up newspaper. The snakes love it, they hide inside and climb all over it. Somehow even the large ones find a way to get inside without the hind end sticking out.

I like to use granola and fruit bar boxes too for ones in tubs and not display tanks. If I ever thought about it, I'd try matching flavor with morph color lol

we have some in the fridge, been there for about 3 weeks, dont think its suitable for eating anymore, but i bet hiding might still work

I have an adult female using a Crunch Berries cereal box and I no longer feel so guilty about being resourceful.

Do the Marlboro packs work well for the young snakes? Maybe I have a reason to not quit smoking, free snake hides. -kidding, kidding-

Autumn, I have been thinking of quitting. I actually thought about what I would do for baby hides. The cig pacs are just the right size for babies. They love them.

good ideas. i use toilet paper tubes for the babies, and paper towel tubes until they literally can't fit in em anymore.

can you IMAGINE the looks i got when, at my housekeeping job, i collected all the paper towel/toilet paper tubes and brought them home? ok, good. now can you IMAGINE the looks i got when i told my coworkers that i use them for my snakes at home?

Sounds like my kind of hides. I have a shoe box with a hole cut in one end I use as a hide for Tiaga.
