Krueger Escaped!!!!!

So it was 4 in the morning and saw my cat staring at something. Usual for her to do, but I go check it out. And there is KRUEGER striking his heart at her. 36g Brazilian Rainbow Boa vs 12 pound cat -winner me. I just got the cat away and picked the very angry Krueger back to his cage. Discovered I flailed to shut the lid incompletely

It all ended well, Kreuger went back into his enclosure unharmed. And my cat got a full bowl of cat food.

Relieved I was at the right place at the right time.

aha! poor little guy must of been scared to death!!!
im glad everything turned out alright though,

I'm always soo scared that ill forget to lock the tanks properly one day. So far so good, but you can never be to careful. :(

Whew that's awesome, thank goodness you got him, I'm not sure what my cat would do, Im sure mine would try to eat it. My dog would just bark at it.

I haven't had an escape yet, I hope I never do, all my tanks have sliding/locking tops. I old and forgetful, I could forget to put a top on. LOL

Lol!! One of the many worries that has stopped me from getting a cat--fear of the scaleys becoming prey! Glad you were able to intervene before someone got hurt! :)

(Of course, now I'm convincing myself that it's a moot point now with the Demon Corgi in the house. Amazing how your priorities shift when there's the sweetest, most adorable foster kitten staring you down day... after day... after day...)

I have 2 cats that would have done the same thing & 1 that would probably not need cat food for a day or two. Also at least one of my dogs would be a problem for a loose snake. Glad you were right there, you know in case your kitty was still in the plotting stages of being bad ;)
