We went road cruising for snakes and only found boxies. A lot of boxies, here are a couple pics but not all of them. Not sure the story on the painted one. I guess she dolled herself up to go looking for a turtleman lol

Lucky, Eastern box turtles used to be everywhere here... I wish people could just leave the poor things alone.
 
Nice Bob, it's pretty cool how much eastern box turtles vary from region to region. Fwiw almost all the box turtles turtles I use to see around were orange marked :).
 
Wait, the one with blue and silver... is that natural or did someone paint it?
