LAva, Lavamel or amel?

I got this guy from a college student that posted on Craigslist. She said that the breeder told her it was a lava.

Not a lava. I don't think a lavamel. Amel? But- the eyes seem off?? Like, not as red as they should be? Wait for Shiari to get here :)

For the pairing she bought him for Amel makes the most sense. I believe he is amel het Charcoal. She bought him as a breeder for a blizzard.

Honestly, if it was the slightest bit less orange I'd say that was a butter. As an amel, it is soooo oddly colored that it looks like an excellent example of a creamsicle.

So yeah... either butter or creamsicle, I guess. o_O Definitely not lava or lavamel.

cute snake but I can see the confusion on color... another snake that looks like he quite couldn't decide what to be...

After looking at some creamsicles, that would be the closest to what h looks like. I am sure he is not a butter seen a few of those in person and he does not look like that.

Ok, lets say he is a creamsicle. What will I get breeding him to an Amel. I have read a bit about were they come from but not really much about breeding after.

If you breed him to an amel, you will get all creamsicles. Creamsicles are the amel version of hybrids between corn snakes and emoryi rat snakes.

So, I guess we will have a shot at putting out Cream Blizzards this next season. Thank you for your time!
