Lavender - Jasper

Herpetologists' offspring
This is the little guy I picked up a couple of weeks ago at the Hamburg show. He's doing quite well, already eaten six pinkies and had a perfect shed. The guy I bought him from (Rick) told me he might actually be a plasma, so I'm super excited to see how he turns out!

This first is my favorite. I love head shots, and it makes his head pattern very visible and his tongue is adorable!

Thanks for looking! ^_^

You can easily tell if he's a plasma or not. Does he have belly checkers? Do you mean he could be a hypo?

Well, then he has to be either hypo lavblood or lavblood, right? Do you mind me asking, what did he cost?? Why wasn't the guy positive he was a lavblood? (I'm not trying to be the Spanish Inquisition, I'm just curious!!)

Haha It's okay, I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. I got him for $40, because he was being sold as a lavender and because he has two kinks in his back, so either way he would've been marked down. To be honest, though, I have no idea why he wasn't sure if it was a lavblood or not.

Whatever he is, he looks freakin' awesome....... damn these corn snake, almost two years ago, I told my g/f that I only wanted one, now I have 12 plus my first clutch(2 snows and 8 anerys) that hatched out a few weeks ago.

What a deal! I feel bad for the guy considering his kinks, but he looks amazing! Glad he got a good home, not the alternative.

wyocornsnaker: Hah, yeah that's kind of what happened to me, as well! But corn snakes are adorable, so it's all good, right?

Reptilekyle64: Oops, sorry about that! If my mom hadn't been there, you might've gotten him. I was hunting him down the whole time, but when I walked past him I was looking at a snow, and totally missed that he was sitting on top of something else!

tbtusk: His kinks are actually getting much much better. They're not entirely gone yet, but I think that they'll grow out like they did for the rest of my normal hatchlings.

^_^ Thanks for all the comments, guys!

I didn't really intend for this to be a progression thread, but why not! I just took a few pictures of this little bugger (who refuses to sit still, I might add) and a few of them might be worth uploading. I also got a belly shot, just to verify the "plasma" diagnosis.

Although he does have reduced belly checks, I would say he is not homozygous for bloodred, you can see faint half checks at the sides of his underneath this probably means he is a het bloodred instead.
Lovely snake all the same!

Just a few new pictures of Jasper, here...
