I really, really do love the sunkissed morphs.

Do you have any adults with that combo yet?

No. This is the first year I have hatched any. No telling what they will turn out looking like as adults.

Do you have any full body shots?

Beats me. I took over 2,000 photos this hatching season. There may be one in that mess somewhere.

Send it to me and I'll take all of the full body shots for ya. ;)

I'm like Joe, I really like the effect that Sunkissed lends to morphs. Why hasn't Sunkissed been more utilized?

Surely by now you'd think we could breed out the nasty temperment after all of this time. Look at the headway we've made with getting hatchling Bloodreds and Butters feeding nowadays.

You're almost making me wish I hadn't sold my vampiric sunkisseds... Almost. ;) Very pretty.

The het blizzard sunkissed corns I have seem to be fairly even-tempered. Don't know if that will still persist in the F2s... (Rich? How ARE their personalities, anyway?)

Actually, the outcrossed Sunkisseds I have seem almost mellow in comparison to the original strain. But even in the original line, the older adults seem much more mellow then the younger adults. So it does appear that they will grow out of that nervousness as well as being something you can breed out of them rather easily.

Of course, there are probably always going to be throwbacks here and there.

attitude???

*sigh*
I don't understand...why in the world anyone would want to breed OUT attitude? I find attitude in corns absolutely adorable! But doggone it, they can start out sooo nasty, but they always seem to grow up into the most mellow adults... Hmmm...must be cause I can't seem to put them down as youngsters and they grow used to me and thus grow out of that temper...oops... I've got an 05 Okeetee that is just the spitting image of her mother, coils and strikes repeatedly as soon as she knows she's been "discovered." Truly cute! Guess I'm the odd man out, I love attitude! :crazy02:
I'm sure over time there is going to be all the diff morphs crossed into all the different Hypo genes that are out there. Wow, what a thing to keep them all straight! :shrugs:

Just curious if you have any recent pictures of the Sunkissed Lavenders now that they've had a couple of months. :santa:

Sorry, but no. The only reason I get photos during hatching season is because I have the camera sitting by, at the ready, as I am checking on the clutches hatching. I seldom take photos the rest of the year........
