Let's talk about Leopard!

First time I remember hearing of these it was on facebook and I believe it was Jereme Brace in 2018. It was briefly called Jaguar instead, but settled on Leopard. Laura Britvec also had some around the same time, and she mentioned purchasing them at the San Diego reptile expo that same year (2018). Jereme had purchased them from a wholesaler who was "an older gentleman." Jereme's source said they originated in a Stripe line. Though it looks a bit like Stillman, Stillman was bred against stripe, motley, and tessera and is definitely not the same thing.
That is the extent of my knowledge that is (maybe) not already posted in here.

I've continued to have fairly poor fertility with Pard. I did, however, get 4 fertile eggs when I bred him back to his daughter, Ralen.

I ended up with a perfect punnet square result from breeding this anery motley het amel to his anery het motley amel daughter. 3 aneries, 1 snow. 2 motleys. 1 motley shows aberrancies that could lead to a leopard-style pattern in future generations. The other motley is a banded motley.

My thoughts continue to lean strongly towards pinstripe and banded being at play here together here. I have purchased a stunning milksnake-phase banded miami female from Carol who is likely homozygous motley, but for sure at least het. I would love, in the future, to also put Pard to a good pinstripe motley. This female shed recently so Carol and I have decided on a "hope against hope" that she might be receptive to Pard. No luck so far, but it's only been a few days since I brought her home.
