no shes no shedding. That was my first thought too but the manager had said she had just shed last week.

Sorry, children's bed time means I cant focus. Yes they usually house whatever adults they get in the same tank and have as many as 10 hatchlings in a tank. Typical pet store stuff.

Also any ideas on the bottom gal? Caramel?

That pink-ish one is an amel in shed for sure. 100% no doubt.

Shame about the housing, some pet stores just don't give a hoot.

The bottom one is a normal/classic/wild type, however you want to phrase it.

Are you sure the bottom one is a classic and not an amel? I don't see any black or dark on it at all, and it looks like it has red eyes. Am I incorrect?

I would not buy a corn that was housed like that, personally.

I'm far from expert, but my first thought was that it was an amel in blue too. The pet store guy might not even have been intentionaly lying when he said she shed last week, I mean, how would he ever know which snake did the shedding when there are that many snakes in one enclosure?

It also looks either overweight or gravid, but I'd need a better pic or to lay a hand on it to be sure...

I would never give money to a place that housed animals that way. :(

That is an amel.

Thank you everyone, I did pass on all the snakes. I got a little excited, I have 2 amels and neither get neon when in blue. Great call by you experts

Rep given, thank you! It never ceases to sadden me watching so many people every year buy poorly-kept reptiles to "save them" while conscientious breeders who downright pamper theirs have slow sales. And the follow up threads about the purchased "rescue" being sick or having one issue or another are all too common. You made the right choice, someone here or at a show will have the perfect corn for you, that hasn't been cohabbed in a small dirty cage.
