come ooonnnn spring!!!!

No, the cold front on Monday can't come soon enough.

Living in S. Florida has it's prices.

Wild Corn snakes year round, but so is the 70-90 degree weather.
Just yesterday it was in the 80's.

For variety's sake today is the first real day of snow here in Eugene, OR other than that we have had rain, freezing fog, rain, drizzles, rain, sprinkles, rain, and rain. I have double motivation for spring to come, so I can find snakes and so I can find work. (I'm a landscaper by trade, was 'laid off' in Sept :( ) But thanks for the nice pretty pictures of Florida... :headbang:

Doo Doo Doo Lookin' out my backdoor... (Sure is pretty though!)

That's nice, Jen. Do any sleddin'? I love sledding, and snow art.
I personally think ALL weather is beautiful. In Virginia we have a variety and I like that. My wife fares better healthwise in the warm, so that's probably our next move, somewhere south or the southern west coast.

I just spent an hour trying to make a snowman, who knew it was so hard lol... Mine kept crumbling. I've been out playing in the stuff like a little kid, it doesn't snow often here, never snowed where I grew up or in CA where I used to live, I must say today is the first day I have really set out to enjoy myself in the stuff.. I did go skiing, once, a long time ago but that's it... Gotta enjoy it while it's here cause it will probably turn into slush pretty quick around here!

Make your snowman when it starts to get a little warmer, it packs together nice. If you pack it real hard and make it large it will last quite a while. I've seen them in mine and other people's yards long after the snow was gone. ENJOY!

Ha! I just realized this was in a snake forum, not general chitchat.
What I meant was; It is not recommended to look for cornsnakes in the snow, but if you still feel like trying you can generate body heat by building a snowman, thus allowing you to search longer.
K?

It's more like a large snow mound right now, it just refuses to hold its shape lol... I got too cold so might have another go at it later ;)

you have to pack the snow into a ball make 3 balls pack them together and fill the spaces keep packing untill you getb the size and shape you want. if snow is a power typwe a dry snow then forget it unless yo get a small spray bottle to mist the snow

Thanks.. I think it might have been to powdery at the time. It made for a very crumbly and free-form art sculpture, might look like a snowman if you stretch your imagination ;)
