I have used Zoo Med shredded aspen for awhile and recently tried the Tractor Supply Aspen bales. Zoo Med is nice but it takes several bags to get everything covered. The TSC brand is real dusty.
I have 2 racks that have 8 bins each 32 qt. size, 1 rack with 5 bins 32 qt. size, 1 16 bin hatchling rack, a huge 90 gallon tank, a 35 gallon tank, 2 20L tanks, and a 3 10 gallon tanks.

Is Harlan bales my best choice? Is there a dealer close to me I haven't stumbled on? Is there another bulk option?
What would you do for all of these? Larger Breeders have any suggestions for me?
***Keep in mind that I am in the mountains of North Carolina near Virginia and Tennessee.***

I just get the jumbo bags of Aspen from Petsmart. One of those bags is enough for me to do a lot of tubs - at least 20 or so of the 32 qt tubs.

For a while I bought from Petsmart too. If you order on line and order six of the big bags, they pay the shipping. As I remember it worked out to about $10 a bag.
