Lova and Lyra

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
A match made in heaven just considering how well their names go together, right?! :dancer:

Well, I got all excited that Nanci hatched a Ghost Bloodred Stripe, and then got even MORE excited when she pointed out that my baby Lova is now ph Hypo! I already have been planning on pairing him with Lyra some day. Now the possibilities are even sweeter!!

Lyra is a (Pied?)Ghost Blood, and Lova is a Bloodred het Anery, Amel, Stripe, NOW ph Hypo.

Anyway, I put them together for an impromptu photo shoot because I was so excited at the possibility of their future "together", and I think they look rather nice together!

Here are the photos.

Pied filling!

Hey hey, it looks like they like each other!

Note: No actual matings were attempted during this photo shoot. They're just babies!!

Hope you guys like the photos, I think they compliment each other quite well.

Aren't they so sweet together??? Lova is so gorgeous- I'm glad his future mate is too!!

Thanks for the compliments guys! Lova's intense color washed out Lyra just a tad, but I still think they look pretty great together.

I especially like that last picture too. It was so sweet. As soon as I picked them up to go back inside they wrapped their tails together and stayed that way as I carried them upstairs and into the apartment. I just had to snap a few pictures before I put them back in their respective tubs.

Their "hard work" and good cooperation was rewarded with a thawed out hopper each. I even slit the f/ts backs!

Thanks for looking, and tails crossed that these two mature well in the years to come and that all goes well when it comes time for them to do the real deal.

What a gorgeous future couple! I have kinda the same deal going on with Pandora. Her future mate is a low expression pied BR ph hypo (ghost? cant remember). Shes still only 65g so has some growing to do! Im curious to find out if the white sided gene is compatible with the pied sided gene.

Very pretty. Are they 10's or 09's? Most all our babies have betrothed partners for the future, I might borrow your idea to take pics of them together (if I can?) but none of my pairing will be as stunning as this one here :/

I see TONS of fascinating animals on this site.
I have to admit your pair there (in my opinion just based on looks and personal preference) is probably in my top 95% of favorites easy. Such a rich color on the male and that female blows my mind. I usually don't like the lighter tones as much but that really works.
Very nice

They're going to make gorgeous babies!
I love the intertwined tails. :) That would make a cute Valentine's Day card. :)

they both look awesome Jessica. Kiran is doing well but she has proven to be quite a picky eater. takes her hours just to eat one pinky let alone two.
