I have a large and absolutely gorgeous male Vietnamese Blue Beauty for sale(Elaphe taenuira grabowskyi). He is roughly 8 1/2' in length and weighs near 3-4 pounds...and he isn't quite full grown yet. These are the largest of the Beauty snakes, with males averaging 9-10' in length and some specimens reaching 11' on record.
They are also the most aggressive of the beauty snakes, and this guy definitely has the typical attitude. Very defensive, and does NOT enjoy handling. If you are not familiar with the species, or if you are faint of heart, this is not the snake for you.
He is a proven breeder, producing a nice clutch in '07, but was not paired up for 2008. He will make a great breeder or an awesome display animal in a quieter location. He can be really hissy, and likes to rear up in a defensive posture and give an open mouth hiss, so really...if you aren't prepared for a snake with a bad attitude, this guy isn't for you.
He eats F/T adult rats every week without fail. I am asking $250 plus shipping for this beautiful boy. Serious inquiries send email to [email protected].
