Michael - Granite het Stripe

Thought I would post some pictures of my Granite het stripe that I got from Dean. This guy is so awesome. Like Kieran, he comes out when he hears the top of his tank opening. Also, like Kieran, he doesn't dart for the nearest hide when I drop down to stare into their tanks, but he'll stare back :) I fed last night and he's hanging out in the open, although I think that had something to with moving his tank. He seems much happier away from the window.

Anyway, this guy is photogentic and I'm hoping to take him out Sunday for some more natural shots...

I really, really, love this guy :)

He's looking great! He obviously likes being in your care. :)

Thanks Dean :) I consider myself to be very lucky to have him in my collection. And his personality just grows by the day. Not quite the character that Gailleann is, but I love it when his head pops out when I go over to his cage or that he'll follow me (my hand or face) around the cage. I so love snakes that don't feel the need to hide :)

Awww he's pretty, and what nice hets he has! Mmm, a granite stripe sounds very nice. Do you plan on breeding him eventually?

Oh yeah, he's definitely going to be one of those I breed :) I hoping that Abner has a daughter this year that Dean will let go for him. I just want to keep that lovely coppery sheen he has. I can just imagine a whole clutch of them :)
