Two of My Babies are MIA since Tuesday.:awcrap: The Little buggers broke out of their new home. The two are Shy, weighing in at 37g as of the 8th, and Snip weighing in at 32g. Any Ideas as where I should look are welcome. :shrugs:All Obvious places have been check daily, some times twice or three times daily. :awcrap:How great are the chances that they survive till I can find them. :(:crying:

Putting out a warm pinky in the corner might help.
Buit I would scroll up to the word "search " and type in trap and read up from there.

Good Luck

Hi,

I made a post a few weeks ago about my missing corn and got a lot of great ideas/advice. Unfortunately though, I still haven't found mine :(!! All I can say is good luck, I did everything I could and now am just waiting it out. I know how awful it feels!

I'm sorry to hear your babies are AWOL. You might try putting their vivs along the wall lying on their sides so the snakes can get in. Supposedly they like the familiar and may stay in it.

You may want to put masking tape curls along the edges of the walls. Don't use duct tape, or anything really sticky. Masking/painter's tape can tangle them up without causing damage to scales when you gently remove it. You may also want to put a water bowl out along a wall to help prevent dehydration.

Good luck finding them. They can be out for quite a while and still be found safe. I'm hoping for the best for you!

Sometimes shavings from a dirty mouse cage can act as an attractant. Besides what everyone else has said, just bear in mind they tend to stick close to walls, rather than venture out in the open.

When Rio escaped, he was found under the cable tv box about 3foot away from the viv, he was curled up all nice & warm.

Wishing you find yours also.
And Thanks for the Ideas and Condolences.
Had Maya out last Night and had the thought...Maybe he will show me where the ladies could be. So I let him wander around a bit keeping a close eye on him without disturbing him. went through the door way and around the corner. I could see where he was going and thought he was headed down the few stairs between the Living room and entryway. When his tail was passed the door so I could open it without hurting him, I followed. I was just in time to see him crawling INTO the door frame. OOOOH NOOOO! So I did the only thing I could. I ripped the door frame apart and put the bugger back in his Viv. Whew, That was close.
Any way, I guess he did help me a little. I now know that I will have to be really lucky to find them. I sure do hope they are ok and come back when they get hungry. :shrugs:
