Morph ID?

OldDetroit

This is a friend of mine's snake. She got her from someone who has long since forgotten anything the breeder or pet store told them about morph or genetics. Her pattern is hard to see, but I tried to get the best picture I could close up. The color in the pictures is really accurate considering I don't know what I'm doing with a camera. None of the belly shots came out, but it looks pretty clear, maybe a little color/off white on the sides like some diffused have. Any guesses?

maybe a different background would help...be honest in those pics it looks like an amel black rat snake

I don't know, maybe. I might have some pictures on a navy background. I'll post them tonight when I get home if I do.

Another picture on a different background, but this picture was taken with the flash so her color got kinda washed out. Also a belly shot that looks mostly okay.

Big blocky head with a bumped nose and no belly checkers. He is also going to be bigger and bulkier. Lovely snake. I would definatly take that one in a heartbeat!

from head on a black rats head looks "flatter", and the eyes look further apart than you'd expect to see in a corn snake...Definitely a bulkier snake in appearance than a corn, and the color is what you'd expect to see in an amel black rat also...there are different "color phases" of amel black rats, and also white sided and leucistic (all white) black rat morphs too...

Your friend has a sweet snake :)
