Here are some new photos one of my favorite pets.....he's a himalayan rabbit named Earth (see ear tattoo), but better known as "Bunny".

Himalayans are sensitive to temperature and he's really darkened up around the eyes and smut this winter.

Here's an older pic of him...his coloring is a bit lighter

......hmm okay well maybe you can't tell the color difference from these photos, but I swear he's in a super-noticable (well to me anyway) "dark phase"...;)

Aw, I love bunnies! He's a handsome fella. I have two myself and think they are the best pets ever.

Cute rabbit! Great name as well.. I was totally uncreative and ended up naming mine "Steak".

I've always loved the Himalayan look.

Thanks everyone!

Bunny is probably the most social pet I've ever owned...begs for attention and is super curious and friendly. He used to be a show rabbit (the breeder did the tattoo and named the whole litter after planets), and did very well for a couple years in it (got a couple best in shows too). He's now just a fat, healthy, neutered pet.:D

Aww he's so beautiful and cuddly looking.

He reminds me of my Dusty except dusty had grey instead of black and was a floppy ear. I found him under a dumpster, he used to play fetch and wrestle with my cat. He was such a funny bunny. I miss him he passed away last winter.

I love himalayas, my favoritest bunny (at the shelter) was one. I would have named my snake after her, but her name was Precious. Kind of lame.

She shed a lot.

Aww..sorry for your loss! I'd be a wreck if I ever lost this guy, he's quietly captured every family member's heart (even the dogs :licklips:). A lot of other rabbit breeds come in a himalayan variety, I always thought it would be cool to have a picture that compared all the breds with this colour- they have a huge body shape difference (ie. dwarf himi to californian).

If you're currently bunny-less, I know the best cure for that......:D

She shed a lot.

No such thing as lame names....I wanted to name all my snakes Penny (and still secretly do :p). I think you can tell how much Bunny sheds by all the fuzziness in the pictures- he's like a molting machine 50% of the year!
