Okay so obviously I didn't post the pics right...lol. Any clues would be appreciated. I added them as attachments.

If you used the Manage Attachments window, you either forgot to download the photos, they were of the wrong type or they were too large and you didn't see that message at the top of that window. Try it again.

Here they are!

Alright -- now that we all know I can't see the obvious! I have resized and here they are :) :shrugs:

Originally I kept them this way as this is how I got them. I have since read about the risks and have decided to keep it this way, just for now. My husband and I have talked about it and have decided that we will seperate them soon. I purchased them from another owner about 6 months ago (they were 6-9 months old at the time) and they had always been housed together. We have kept them this way with no issues or signs of issues. Reading more about the risks, we decided to seperate them this fall, in the next month or two, as they are getting further away from "little buddies" and closer to adulthood. I don't want anything accidental happening while they are still this small (i.e., breeding, undue stress in vying for the best space when they get too big to share it). In the mean time there are loads of hiding spaces. I do wonder, however, if there is a chance of one of them stressing from the first change in home after this long when we seperate them... any ideas on this would be appreciated. The hatchling is completely alone and all other corns I get will be started the right way at the beggining of it all. I do appreciate your concerns though, thank you!

That amel has very nice colors! Aren't you afraid that the snow is gonna escape through the ventilation 'slits'? It looks like he might be able to..

The problem is not breeding...its eating each other.
Breeding is a problem too. Especially with snakes that young, the female could easily die. Eating each other is a risk too, just not the only one :).

On a side note those are some awesome looking critters you've got. The colors on that amel are stunning!

Camera tricks :)

No - for some reason the way the light is reflecting they look HUGE...but the slits are teeny - hardly enough for the end of his tail to fit through.

Thank you

Again I appreciate you concern. I admitted above that it was in my ignorance that I kept them housed in the same tank, as that was how I purchased them. I also stated I will be seperating them very soon. In the mean time they are well fed and given every opportunity to get away from each other within the tank. I want to purchase two tanks large enough to house them into adulthood at this point and both will be moved to "comfier"quarters.

You will all be happy to know...

You will all be happy to know that SUV and Aveo (my amel and anery named by my three year old after our vehicles) have now been seperated. Over the past two weeks Aveo, the anery female, has been acting increasingly stressed. There haven't been any changes in the home and so, just in case she's tired of sharing her space, I moved SUV to a different enclosure. I moved him up to a 20g long and left her in the 10g for now. I figure if she's stressing about something it was best to leave her in the home she knows and move her up later after she mellows and needs the extra space.

Thanks guys!!
