i just currently got this tank on sale at petsmart so i decided to get it and put my 08 amel in it, so far she loves it. i need to get some background for it though

DUUUUUDE WHERE DID YOU GET THAT CASTLE! i just fell in love!

BEAUTIFUL snake too, the side-saddles are SO stunning, especially since they're the same color as the top saddles, it creates a wonderful zig-zag pattern going down the side of your snake.

i saw it at the petsmart thats down the road and i saw it, and i just had to have it
 
I would plug up some of those holes, you don't want her getting stuck in places. Or you might think she's escaped and she'll have been hiding in there for days on end.
 
Katia, look in the fish section- they get all the cool decorations!! That's a great castle. Like Jen says, I'd check carefully for holes she could get into that you couldn't find her in, and block them with aquarium silicone.

(anthropomorphism alert) It looks like the snake is thinking"Hmm, from this tower I can apply leverage to this point on the lid, hmmm..."
 
What size is the tank? I usually buy my tanks used--as they are SO much cheaper, but I've been keeping my eyes on snake specific enclosures.
 
wow i found that castle ornament...for like SEVENTY dollars for both pieces! i'll have to mortgage my house! just kidding, but you know what i mean, i have already invested hundreds and hundreds of dollars into my snake set-ups, so now i just have to wait and save up a bit!

I love the look, and the castle is great. .......But......That looks like a major cleaning headache......I wouldn't want too many of those to clean through.....LOL
