My snake is not eating

A few pictures of OZ: I like taking pics when he's blue, hope these pics will help some newbies out. Oz is 4 years old, weighs over 950 grs, is 60" +-, he eats every two weeks a small rat. When he is blue or getting blue he refuses to eat. He last ate 12/16, refused on 12/30 picture one, you can see his belly is cloudy (dates on pics are off). The last three pics are today, if he follows his normal pattern he won't eat until next week, meaning he will go 4 weeks without food. Hope this helps some for those that are worried when a snake refuses, when blue. susang

Thanks for the comments, he is just so sad looking now. In person you can hardly see the color differences he's just all blueish white.

:) Love the thread title! He doesn't look in any danger of wasting away, he's a lovely hefty boy!

Nice pics! My dang lav Lila refused last time- she NEVER does that. Now I'm wondering if she's blue- it's really, really hard to tell. She's even snuck shed on me once and not missed a feeding. Normally I can tell because she always sits with her head a few inches out of her hide at night, resting on a log, and when she doesn't do that, she's blue.

:-offtopic Hey Nanci have you seen the commercials with Ross the intern on VH1 for the Critics Choice Awards. He's lost weight but the voice is the same, I keep waiting for "pineapple". susang
