This is the snake I bought from a pet shop for my oldest boy. The gentlman had a wonderful setup for his snakes and was very nice. Gave us a really good deal on this one. I was excited and didn't ask the sex, emailed him just a few days ago and asked he said he couldn't find it in his records but believes he remembered it as a female, I also believe it to be a female. Not 100% sure on the morph as I'm just not that sure of my guess on that kind of thing. I would say and have said amel but would love for someone with experience to confirm. I don't really care as this is just a super gentle corn that my son is just absolutely in love with.

Thanks for that, I know its pretty boring as far as morphs go but I love the thing and so does he which is the most important part.

Just because a morph is common does not make it boring! She is beautiful!!!! Most people's first corns are amels, mine was. He is 17 years old now. Congrats on such a lovely best friend for your son, I hope she thrives for you!

My first corn (and still one of my favorites) is a lovely amel. I love the rich color of yours!

I'd say that's a real nice example of a "fluorescent' amel corn, really like the white outlines of the saddles. :)

Well thank you all. I know its a very beautiful snake and we love the darned ole' thing. I'm meeting with a local college professor next week to do some field herping and he said he'll be glad to sex it then. We'll find out then if we have Penny or Oscar. I honestly purchased the snake because of the disposition it has. I've had several snakes over my lifetime that are easily handled. This one is by far the best attitude I have seen. Its just soo mellow and laid back.
