Neat Ikea Find!

No problem! Glad I could help. The $0.89 ones are the smaller pet dishes, but they do also carry the larger ones for just over a buck. Right now I only need the small ones, but will be sure to hit them up when I need a larger one.

I also notice you are from Cleveland. Where abouts? I used to live in North Olmsted. Moved to Florida 6yrs ago to get away from the snow.

Found them today at Target, thanks all.

I live in Mentor, 15 miles east of Cleveland. I lived in No. Olmsted in the early '80's. I lived on David drive just off Lorain rd. between Clague and Columbia. My balcony overlooked Red Lobster. How's that for scenery.:licklips:

HEY! If you want the water bowl pictured above, Target has them on sale BUT the sale ends tomorrow, Saturday. The small square ones are $0.71 and the larger are $1.39.:wavey:

meh

Those are pretty neat, but I don't think I need one...my snake seems to find ways to hide under his water dish, without holes in it. :shrugs:

Mine sometimes like to burrow under their normal dishes too. Still, I might get some since they are so inexpensive. There is a new IKEA in Michigan around where I live. Those dishes are great.

My yearlings like hiding under their water dishes too, especially when in blue or when it is hot, like last week

The bowls from Ikea do they come in different sizes and would a 4 foot snake be able to fix in it??

They have a larger blue one. Not sure if a 4 foot snake might fit underneath. I have a 3ft one that manages to squeeze under the green one, so you never know. They can fit into some awfully small places. The blue ones are something like 75¢, so even if he doesn't fit, not a big loss on money.

Man where were these damned things?!?!? I was looking all over ikea for them yesterday and couldn't find them! I wanted to pick up two of them. Help!!!!

i use water bowls that looks like those, i got both of mine from walmart. They should be in the pet section (dogs/cats), i think they're meant to be used as large water/food dishes for dogs hehe. I dont remember how much they were...maybe $1-2 or something?

Hey thanks for passing this on. Well worth the 40min drive to my nearest Ikea! Besides you never know what else I may find (shhh). If anybody is into tea lites you can get a bag of like 20 for around 50 cents there as well.

Tea Lites! I use tea lite holders from Linens n Things for water bowls for hatchlings. $0.99 each. They're pretty heavy glass, dishwasher safe and just small enough to encourage me to get rid of the little buggers before they out grow them.:grin01:

Sorry to mislead you but not the holders unfortunately but the actual little candles that go into the holders. Great idea using the holders for your hatchlings though!

At my ikea they were on the bottom part by all the plants and pots. They had a very small pet section.

I was also looking for bowls like that; like the color too!
Unfortunately we dont have an IKEA over here; and I dont have a car to drive to the nearest.

I found some plastic bowls; but they were quite expensive; about $5 a piece.

I use microwave tubs as waterbowls; and foodcups as hides.

I use mostly those metal waterbowls for dogs; size big enough for pretty big adult costs 3,75 euro. But I do use microwave tubs when I don't have them available yet for a new snake.
