Need help to decide

If you want a snake that is bigger than a corn, what about a MBM, as previously mentioned, and a Florida King? I have two FKs and love them both. Never a worry about feeding.

Another snake that I think are really cool are the Hognose snake's. I got 3 western hognose last July and looking to get more next summer!! This is also another snake that you will have to make sure that it is eating mice before you buy one.

You could go for the gold and get a bull snake, bigger than any king but still kind of medium sized. The whited sided bulls are AMAZINGLY pretty. Gopher snakes are pretty rad too.

Everglades, bairds, black, yellow, texas, trinket, radiated...um....I know there's more but those are all rat snakes you could look into. Bairds are my favorite. Red tailed, blue beauty, and mandrian rats are good looking snakes, but I hear a little temperamental.

I like the axanthic florida kings best of all king snakes, the mexican blacks are pretty too.

Do milk snakes and king snkaes get bigger then corn snakes or are they smaller. Also if any one noes anyone who breeds rat snakes or gopher snakes if ya could let me no that would be great. Thanks for the help. Coryell

it depends on the species. The largest milks are Andeans and Black Milks and they get around 6 - 7 feet in length.
As Kings go, Florida Kings get bigger than MBKs and Cal kings.

Now I want you to ask yourself something, are you wanting a small snake to hold? Milks and kings can be a bit jumpy. And the wee ones do not like to be held. I keep various kings and milks and I will say that as wee ones, they suck as pets. You can not hold them until about a year or so of age.
As they get older they get calmer.

Now if you have a large herp room or keep your snakes together, then I recommend against a king. Cause you may get a critter that is just driven nuts by the scent of his food next to him. It takes me about 20 minutes to be able to calm my big Floridan king down.

But if you want a nice cool snake, I recommend a Leucistic Texas Rat snake.

or how about a Fox snake. I gotta tell yah, I got some babies this year and they are calm. I got them from a wild caught female. I am so impressed with the little ones.
