Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.
It would also be nice if you would answer some of the basic questions you've been asked: 'Adopt' or bought? Heat source and how do you check temps? What are the temps?
oh, sorry he is 55 grams. I have a thermometer in the tank and keep it at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and have a heat lamp to keep it up to temp. and i don't really understand the difference between bought and adopted.
If you paid money to a pet store for an animal you bought it. If they gave it to you for free you adopted it.
If you went through a rescue organization and paid money it would still be considered an adoption b/c the monies paid are going to help other animals in need.
This link might help you with appropriate temps the way to measure temps... http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28341. I know it's long but it should help you.
The thing is if you bought the snake you should have had an idea of the cost of upkeep same if you adopted and relying on what your friends say not the best resource. Owning a snake is a big deal the animal totally depends on you for a clean environment (proper heat and ways to measure temps), adequate clean water and appropriate food.
