Looks like a cal king to me-I don't really see the corn influence if it is indeed a hybrid between the two.

I agree. If there is any corn snake lineage in there at all, it is so small as to be virtually inconsequential. As a result, I had to move this thread from the corn snake Cultivars/Genetics Issues forum to General Chit Chat.

I think it's funny that when a kingsnake is listed as a king/corn hybrid, but looks like a pure king, people will label it as a king and apparently dismiss the potential for it to be a jungle. If this had been a pure looking corn that the OP said was a king/corn hybrid, there wouldn't be a person on here who would tell them it was pure corn and in fact would be warning the OP to make sure they never call it a corn, that it's a hybrid not matter how small the amount of kingsnake might be. I have a jungle that looks like an aberrant cali king, but I know it's a hybrid. If the OP was told by the previous owner that it's a hybrid, it needs to be labeled as such.

cheers guys, the original owner did refer once to her as a "jungle corn" i just didnt know what that meant at the time.
