Need Legal Advice After My Pet Snake Bit a Neighbor

hey everyone,

just wanted to share a quick story n see if anyone’s got some advice or knows about snake laws in fort lauderdale area.

so i recently got a ball python — super chill lil guy, love having him around. didn’t realize tho there’s some kinda local rules about owning snakes here??

anyway, long story short — my neighbor’s uncle came by randomly, n somehow got too close to the snake, who ended up biting him. like it wasn’t bad at all, just a lil bite, nothing serious. but now the guy’s super dramatic n saying he might sue me

I was kinda panicking, had no idea what to do next. started googling stuff n came across this law firm called Clear Horizon Legal Solutions (https://www.clearhorizonlegalsolutions.com/) — looks like they mostly do immigration, but also deal with some legal things around florida in general.

I reached out to ask about pet ownership rules n liability n all that… they were actually pretty responsive and helpful tbh. gave me a general idea of what might apply, still tryna figure everything out tho.

just wondering, has anyone here heard of them? or worked with them for anything not immigration related? like do they really help with stuff like exotic pet laws or nah?

any advice would help, kinda stressed over this lol
