New addition: Rescue Kitty!

Blue Apple Herps

aka Matthew, PhD
Well we rescued this girl a couple of weeks ago and wanted to show her off. She is approx 10 months old and had already had a litter of kittens. Her kittens had already been adopted out but she still needed a home. Well she was just too friendly to pass up and had such a great tuxedo pattern we couldn't resist. So we thought she'd be the perfect addition to our home. We'd been wanting a 2nd cat for sometime, but wanted to wait to find the perfect one. Anyways, here she is; our new cat Mary.

Mary with me.

Eating with our other cat Steve (the Mohawk Kitty!). Look how tiny she is!

And one of Steve just for fun.

Cute kitty! I miss having cats. But with a paralyzed bird who doesn't live in a cage, that's kind of out of the question...

Her coat is adorable! I love the little white feet! Congrats on the new family addition. I hope you enjoy her as much as she will you!

Very cool! Beautiful kitties. I've got a pair of rescue cats, and they're a lot of fun.

Yeah, they are fun and funny! She already thinks she has the run of the place; typical cat attitude though. Steve had been an only cat for a while, but he really has taken to Mary; they love to chase each other up and down the place. Especially at 2:00 in the morning :headbang:

Eh, but it's worth it; especially knowing that she'll have ahome forever.

Exceptionally cute kitty, but I really like the mohawk one. I bet that hair takes a lot of brushing time though!

Yeah, he has quite a coat! I shave it to help keep him cool in the summer and so that there's less hair to brush and clean up from shedding. Plus it also makes him super cool!

very cool cats!! I love Mary! she is sooo cute :0) the orange one looks a lot like one of my b/f cats but only orange instead of grey..very nice though :grin01:

LOL.. I can relate to that... I've had cats literally on the ceiling, cats hanging off my knee with nothing but claws, guilty looking cats standing there with curtains ripped from their rails... they have so much energy they make me feel tired  But you're right, they're worth it. I love kitties.

Matthew, is she a polydactyl or are her toes just spread apart in that pic?

She's not, it does look that way in the picture though, but it must be from her paws being spread out.

And thanks for the kind words everyone! :)
