Hey everyone, haven't been on in ages. Been busy here, got engaged in December http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118740 so I have been starting to plan wedding stuff, our date is July 6th 2013.
Purchased a new little leopard gecko female at the PDX Expo in January and I don't see a thread about her, I think I was waiting till we had a name for her. She is a bold stripe and her name is Saura (like the last part of the word dinosaur) and I may have to get her tattooed on my right foot lol because he pattern is so cool!
I have also coached the middle school long distance runners at the school right down the road from me. So that took up a lot of time in addition to my part time job and full time college student. But I am graduating here in a few weeks and taking a break for summer and fall then starting the Masters of Education program in the winter.
And our most recent craigslist adoption includes two male crested geckos, one dalmatian missing his tail and another (plain? morph) with his tail. The previous owner had them together but I separated them, also had to get off some excess skin off the toes of the guy with the tail (as you can see in the pics of when I brought them home)
ATTN: Crested Gecko owners!
I'm wondering if I can use the moss along with some ZooMed Reptibark? I have one book here about Cresteds and the other is on it's way. The previous owner fed Rapashy powder formula which my friend Gini tells me is just fine. Looking at buying some other flavors in larger bags from Pangeareptile.com (does the powder stuff have an expiration date?) along with some other tank accessories. Any tips for taking care of them are appreciated, from my research they seem pretty easy just need more humidity than the leos and snakes. But since I have two males I'll need at least 6 females right...? LOL good thing there is a reptile expo coming up in August, I better start saving
