New Arrivals: 1.1 Isla de Maize Boas (BCI)

If I'm going to tempt you some more, it'll have to be with babies that I produce myself. ;) They had two rubber boas at the White Plains NY show that I attended last November, but they weren't a pair, so I resisted. I still kinda wish that I had picked up one for fun. They're easy.

Now what I neeed, is for someone to pick up an RB and a show, and then sell and mail me an expensive deli cup that just happens to have the RB inside it! Yessss.... that's it. LOL!

I'd love to, but I think it's illegal to ship them to (or from) California. :(

Really Really wish we seen theese more in Canada, Maybe next year ill play the Cites wait game for a trio or two pairs, Its well worth it,
They are, Stunners Roy,
you are a very lucky guy! :D

They are gorgeous! Congrats!

Sure can't wait to get a pair of my own ... either late this year or, maybe (at the latest), in 2009.

Do keep us updated on this pair.:)

Thanks Eriathiel, Ryan, and Barbara! :)

Thanks Deb. :D Better get on a list, though. I told Gus that I knew of other people who may want them, and that I'd try to steer them toward him. He said not to bother; he always sells out on them quickly!

Absolutely gorgeous...

OMG those are beautiful little things... congrats!!

The most beautiful colors together... thanx for the pics. I can't ever get enough snakes pics, no matter what kind they are... hint, hint lol. I think that's why I come to this site the most is all the pics. I could look at snake pics all day if I had the time lol.

Have a wonderful day and I just wanted to say CONGRATS on those little beauties...

Lil. :)

Their first feeding attempt was today, and it was a success! They each took a small weaned mouse. They even took them in separate feeding tubs (my other BCI won't). My only complaint is that I had to "dance" the f/t. It's not my favorite thing to do. I'm lazy.

I took some more pics of them yesterday. Here are a few:

If you're only feeding complaint with them is that you have to do the zombie dance then I'm even more sold than I was last night
Keep those pics coming Dean!

Ain't they just so pretty Dean? I'm so excited someone else on this forum has them... It's like girlie talk - although not.

Thanks "Delightedly" and Jenn. :)

I really do love them, Elle. The successful feeding helped cement that. I don't know if it's like girlie talk (I've been exposed to it, but have never engaged in it), but I think I know what you mean. It's nice to be able to discuss a common interest with someone else. And since ours are roughly at the same stage of development, it'll be cool to compare notes as the snakes progress. Too bad you're still all alone (on this forum anyway) with your sunbeams, canoida, and baroni...
