new camera-first shots and a yawn!!

bella

mmm zombies....
woo hoo finally got myself a decent camera! i grabbed a canon rebel xti slr, best for me and my budget (esp. since it was on sale!) plus i love it-have used one before. i just got it so i was taking test shots around the house, and realizing how long it is going to take me to figure out all the diff. setting and such.. but it will be fun trying them all out. thought i would share some pics that i took to show approx. how close it can get.-not always a good thing (got to see excatly how much crap is inbetween the comp. keys!)
its a pretty good camera and can get pretty close considering the lens is only the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera. like many who have them on the site i cannot wait until i get some sort of macro lens, right now i am looking into the canon ones, but we will see. it gets close but not close enough i say!
yah i was happy with the feeding pics considering i took them through the glass with a flash.....
and i have been waaaaaaaiting to catch one of the snakes stretching their not-so-little mouths and finally caught it and with my new camera no less! and also, none of these photos have any photoshopping done! au natural!
sorry for rambling, just excited
