Stunning pictures :)
I can never get ALL of the snake in one picture. Tell me the secrets of getting your snakes to curl up LOL

You have to sneak attack them! Be armed with the camera, lift whatever it is they are resting under, then SHOOT! :)

Thank you though!!

Thank you, I have suffered with a camera phone for so long!!

Very nice pictures! Beautiful snakes too, by the way. That third one is my favorite. I love the color and nice black borders.

Thank you both! I purchased her as an Okeetee, but the consensus on this site was that she was just a Normal. However, she also has a fairly silver background color. So I guess she is my Normal with a touch of Okeetee and a hint of Miami!

Thank you! I had some difficulty deciding as well. I really wanted a REALLY nice one but I definitely don't have 1000+ to spend on a camera right now. So, I bought a Nikon P4 8.1 MP. It has a nice Macro setting along with quite a few other features. So far I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

What were you considering??

I went to Wal-Mart to buy a little $100 camera then I got to playing with them. I fell in love with a little $150 Olympus that I got some nice macro shots of the counter grain and stickers and stuff. Of course those were good on the LCD but wasn't sure how they would look once loaded on my comp.

Then I picked up some $400 (they are all blending together at this point lol) 6m 12x optical zoom job and began to drool on myself. That's nothing compared to some of the cameras these guys use but since I have been taking stills with a camcorder, that is a serious upgrade lol.

Here are about the best quality I can get from what I have now. :puke01:

I think I am going to go with a cheaper DSLR for use in school and field observation but really can't make up my mind. :shrugs:
