New Expo Pickup!

I posted a thread about this Honduran Milk Snake I picked up Saturday at the Wheaton Expo. She was very flight and nippy. Well after a few minutes of handling she became completely gentle and friendly. In fact she's just as tame as my corn! I put her down on the bed and she crawled right into my lap. I'm calling her "Panda" because her face looks like a panda. Here's some pictures.

Very nice! What day did you get her? Who's booth was she from? Don't remember seeing a tri honduran there..

I love those! I held one at the shop Sunday, an adult bicolor (red and black) and he was also one of the most gentle snakes I've ever seen...I'll probably buy him a home soon, sigh, as I love him.

Cool how individuals will defy all stereotypes of a species, huh?

Rebecca: I got her on Saturday from the CollisonZoo booth, located near the stage. Honestly most of the expensive milks I saw that day were a bit lackluster and boring compared to her and she was one of the cheapest too. I'm surprised she was still there because she really stood out (at least to me).

I think milk snakes are underrated. I'm sure most agree they are eye candy but they are definitely more than just that. She seemed much more inquisitive than my other snakes. She just wanted to check everything out like my sleeve and when I was playing with camera settings she wanted to climb all over the camera. But yet she also has the ability to stay still for long periods of time and just chill. Almost like she wants to do whatever I'm doing haha. Super cute!
