Hello! After about a year of research I finally decided I was ready to get my first snake :3 I got her 2 weeks ago, she's been eating well so far and once I started taking her out after she had time to adjust to her new environment she was very friendly and hasn't struck at anybody yet. I joined this site to learn more about keeping snakes as well as meet people who like snakes as i've found that everyone I know is uncomfortable around them. After taking a quick look at the forums it seems to be a very nice place :D



This is Pamela, she's around 6 weeks old.

Very cute! My first snake was an amel too. I have to get my fill of snake lovers here because no one I know in real life likes them!
 
My friends are OK with snakes, but they aren't into them like I always have been, so this has been a great site for me! Welcome!
 
Hello everyone, I am also new here and I have that same morph that I've had for over a year and I never new the morph lol. Well, now I know. And also, could anyone tell me how to change my personal pic? I tried some URLs but none worked. And I can't seem to figure out how to post my own thread.
 
Hello and welcome too! To start your own thread, at the top of each subforum, just under the ads, is a blue button that says New Thread, click that and it will let you start a new thread.
As for the picture, I've never managed to make a URL picture work there, have always just uploaded it directly from the computer, but it does need to be fairly small.

I never noticed that button. I guess I'll need to download some pics. thanks for the info!
 
Hello. Gaz here.
Always been facinated by snakes but took the plunge 4 weeks ago.
The local reptile shop had a three year old amel female... soon as I saw her I fell in love.
So I now have FUZZY. She's starting to get braver now and spends more "not hiding", especially after I've had her out.
Would love to post pics once I work out how...if anyone has any advice
