You sure she is a motley? Does her belly have any checkers?

Very cute littler anery either way :)

She doesn't look like a motley to me, either, though she is a lovely little anery.

Also, as an FYI, a "proven" female is one that has laid eggs. Your little most definitely has not done so and thus is not a proven female.

If her belly has checkers then she is not a motley.
There are ways to tell if she is a female, but like Susan said, the term proven comes in play once eggs are laid.

No, she'll get lighter.

That's entirely up to you. I don't handle mine daily.. I'll hold each of my corns about once a week. When I had less, I'd hold my corn for 3-5 hours a day. But when you are first starting out with her, I wouldn't hold her more than 10-15 minutes.

oh ok yeah i held her for about 15 mins wen and got her bedding and pinkies for wen she eats this suday now i have to go get her a bigger water dish another hide out and a purple blub for the lamp so t dont keep me up

She will become lighter and lighter with each shed..do a search on anery progress threads and you will see tons of pics of anerys that age and get lighter and lighter :)
