She a normal colored, twin spotted, 100% het amel Hognose, hatched by Chip on the forums here! I was very happy to get a chance to purchase her. She's been tucked away to be left alone to settle in, but I'm hoping to update with progression pics as she grows. She looks like she'll be a stunner!

It was great meeting you guys today! Please keep me posted on this gal.

Cute!!! I just got my first hoggie on Saturday :D A little male normal (66% het albino) who I've posted a thread about on here lol. Congrats!

That's a real beauty. I've been thinking about getting a hoggie for some time. I MUST RESIST, I already have too many :)

Stunning, love his markings, Is he a Eastern or Western? I'm told once you buy your first Hoggy you'll be addicted for life but, I have also read a western is more handler friendly than an eastern.

Western. And I agree with the addiction thing! My husband actually bought the first one, I thought the hoggy was cute but didn't think they'd be much different from corns. I was won over pretty much immediately and now they're a close tie for favorite.

I wouldn't have wanted one as a first snake, I love the fact that for the most part my corns always eat, rain or shine, where as the hoggies will decide the moon is in the wrong position, or there's an odd number of clouds in the sky, or the wrong sports team won, and they're not going to eat today. And the fact a lot of them huff and puff and bluff like crazy could be intimidating if you don't realize they're not going to bite you out of anger/fear. But I really didn't expect to fall in love with the little butts as much as I did.

I just love my male hoggy, he is such a character! I love his little hissy fits and bluff strikes, they make me laugh. He's so cute and a big hit at my house. I love how small he is too, perfect little pocket snake :)

Tauriel's gorgeous - and I love the name theme you have going on there :D (not to mention the lego hobbit hole!)
