Had Worm out for a bit yesterday...and he was litterally begging me to photograph him. So....here ya go!

PS- The first pick isn't the greatest...but I like that I didn't use the flash...so you can see that he really is THAT WHITE!

Wow, those two tongue shots where he's just poking out the tip of his tongue and that last head shot are amazing! Worm's a leucistic correct? My memory isn't the best today! If he is, he's one of the nicest I've seen especially because he's not bug-eyed!

I took my leucistic guy out last night too. He is a leucistic black rat. I hate to play favorites but I think if I had to name one out of all my collection he would be it! I now have two females to breed him with for next year. I cant wait to make "worm" babies! Those are great shots you took. Getting the white to really represent itself is not always easy!

Forgive me for not remembering this (or for missing it if it's in this thread), but is Worm a LTR or a leucistic black rat?

I'm assuming he's pretty tame?

Thanks everyone!!!!

Jenn- Yes, he's leucistic. Doesn't really have bug eyes...but his eyes are a bit wonky. You can see in the photos how his pupils look a bit weird? Not sure what the deal is there, but he's always been that way. Seems to see just fine though, he's the most alert snake I have, and always keeps his eyes on you.

George- Yes....it's actually a casting of an ancient peruvian womans skull. :) So, it's not actually "real" but it is from a mold of a real one.

Jennifer- He is a texas rat, and he's got a wonderful little personality. He's an angel when held...extremely calm, not head shy, just a joy to hold. When I take him out, he can be hot and cold. Sometimes I can just pick him up and he's just "Huh?". Other times, he'll occasionally do his best cobra/rattlesnake impression....but that's the extent of it. No striking. He's never struck at me, and I've had him since he was a weeee little worm. But yeah, once out of his cage, he's a sweety. He is getting a bit more feisty with his food lately...hehehehehe. It's cute.

I haven't been on the boards for a few days - and what a nice surprise to find this thread.

Worm's as stunning as ever, Jenn! Thanks for posting these!

regards,
jazz

He's so handsome now that he's grown into his head and eyes. He was handsome before too, but now he's handsome in a much more refined way.
