New purchase?

Held Hostage By Corns
I have been looking to purchase this little corn. He is an '09 sex unknown. Possible Anery Motley? I have not yet seen him in person- maybe later today ;).

I just love his dorsal pattern. Owner states he has a plain belly.

Any opinions? I would love to hear what you think.

Thanks!

That guy sure looks like a dilute anery motley to me... If you get him, watch the sheds to see if they are clear ;) Nice snake!

Quick question how can you tell the deference between dilute anery and a charcoal. To the unexperienced I would have guessed charcoal.

Dilutes are a little lighter with a blue cast over the grey when matched with Anery. I like the look and have been intending to get one for a while, myself.

Very pretty little snakie, I would definitely go for it.

I have two dilute anery motlies just recently recevied 2009 stock, so unfortunatley I do not have the much experience but what I see with my babies is a kinda more pastley color to them than anery, might look alot like the one in question based on your photo. Dilutes can be so beautiful as adults. My logic is, if you love that snake at first glance go for it, otherwise you will be kicking youself later. If you have to think about it than keep thinking about it. My personal issue is I sure do love alot of snakes at first glance LOL

Looks like either a light anery motley or perhaps a ghost motley. It doesn't have that "steeled blue" hue seen in the dilute anery mots that young so I don't think it's dilute.

Buy it, feed it, breed it, and prove it. You got 100 pros and 100 differant opinions. For 30 bucks you cant go wrong.

I have 4 pastel dilute motley's. I have 2 adults and 2 09's, my babies are more of a pink color than those. These are still pretty rare, so I doubt he picked one up of a novice breeder for $30. I am going with ghost motley.

I picked the snake up this evening. :) I will post pics in the next few days.

Definitely a motley. The head has the diffused look to it- maybe a het trait. Pic I posted were from the owner, but seeing her in person, she has pinkish hues and some slight yellowing on the neck.

I appreciate all the input! Whatever she may be, I love how she looks. 3 years or more- breeding trials will prove her to be ?
