I agree. Before Don posted that a week or so back, I didn't connect "frosted" to "hybrid" in any way... I just thought it was a cool thing that popped up in "pure" corns from time to time... heck, that's still how I mostly think of it. I just thought I should spread around the info :shrugs:
I wouldn't be overly upset if she is a hybrid, but it would be nice to know just so I could label the offspring as correctly as possible. Then again, maybe it's not responsible for me to breed her if she might be a hybrid and I don't know. I don't know. I've also got an amel that's been suggested might be a cream... and maybe she is! I got her out of a "non-feeding" grab bag full of every color imaginable and now she's growing like a weed, so... who knows. With how diluted emoryi or obsoleta blood could be by this point, who ever knows?
