"Serpent Science"
Sometime later this week or this weekend my uncle is taking me to his ex-business partner's snake barn. Supposedly this guy has just built a new barn to house his collection of snakes and stock of rodents. I'm really excited because he breeds a large variety of colubrids and I just may return with a new friend if I find anything worthy. Im hoping he has lavenders, sunglow mots, grey-banded kingsnakes and/or tangerine honduran milksnakes. Who knows what I would get if I had all those choices. You'll know if I bring anything home.

ohhh bring home a motley lavander!!! and something for yourself as well..lol...hehehe...Hope ya find something good :0)

Update

I haven't gone yet, but I do have a new snake from another place. It was spur of the moment boredom but I saw a Lavender Cal King that I had to have. It's funny that say "bring home several" because I'm considering building a rack if I can figure out how to use flex watt and the right size dimensions.

So I finally went to the snake guy. I was impressed by the "snake barn", but not by the variety of snakes. I'm not sure what his obsession is with creamsickle corns and great plain rats but they make up about 50% of his snake population. The remaining majority of snakes were balls, red-tails, and Brazilian rainbow boas. He did have one gray-banded king and a leucistic Texas rat snake that I am interested in, but I'd much rather have a leucistic black rat snake. So more or less I was disappointed by the trip. Maybe I'll get the leucistic, maybe not. I am happy to know that he will be providing my feeders from now on, which will save me a fortune!

ah well..there's always next time..plus you get a good feeder supplier now..so ya got something good out of it..and possibly a new snake..:0)

There is nothing wrong with a collection like that. I would love to get some other Rats in my collection.
